Cota Handa is a self-taught artist and illustrator based in Tokyo, Japan. She draws illustrations for dog and cat portraits, picture books, products and more. She works with acrylic on paper. She has always been inspired by animals and many of her works feature animals. Cota’s work is sweet, charming and strange, with a dreamlike quality that invites the viewer in.
